Oscillator drifting
Hi!
Yesterday I was playing my OS and noticed that the osc 2 is always solid and in tune but when I turn on the osc1 5 minutes later the osc2 have a bit drifting and unstable behavior. It only happens when I use the osc1. If the osc1 doesn't works the osc2 is always fine.
any ideas?
thanks

Re: Oscillator drifting
Did you already phone or email amos at moogmusic?
I had a problem that was a bit like yours and was told that it was due to oscillator locking because of cross-talk on the pcb.

Re: Oscillator drifting
Finally after 3 months of my purchase I returned this synth to the dealer. I'll never come back to moog in the future. First: the problem with the envelope and then the osc3 died. A shame!!!!

Why didn't you just get a repair or replacement Voyager ?quimgagarin wrote:Finally after 3 months of my purchase I returned this synth to the dealer. I'll never come back to moog in the future.
Most of us have had Voyagers for years with no problems.

a good idea, wish more people thought of it that way, quimgagarin wrote:I'll never come back to moog in the future. A shame!!!!
at last a system55 will then come available for a normal price again...
( strange though such a big words for such a small problem which could indeed be dealt way in a normal way too. ?)

indeed ! Getting rid of it seems a bit drastic.Acid Mitch wrote:Why didn't you just get a repair or replacement Voyager ?
But I'm not sure I understand the problem, was it a problem with the EGs ? Osc 2 unstable ? Osc 3 died ?
All three ???
