Hello,
I recently bought a Moog phaser to go with my ring modulator and EP-2 pedal. I noticed however that when I press the bypass switch it always makes a clicky noise. This is not normal as my ring modulator is perfectly quiet. The noise is not consistent in volume; sometimes the click is quiet, sometimes very loud.
I noticed that the click is more pronounced when the pedal is in 12-stage mode.
What do I do? Anyone knows what the problem might be?
Greetings

Re: Phaser bypass switch click noise
Hi,
I have the same problem with my Mooger phaser - electrical-sounding click, sounds like a dodgy switch. It is similarly inconsistent in volume, and in my case tends to be much louder when disengaging the effect than when engaging it.
I'm planning to replace the switch soon; I strongly suspect that it's not anything to do with the electronics of the unit, otherwise we'd be finding far more online references to the issue (you're the only other person I've tracked down so far who's experiencing any kind of fooger click). Will post again to let you know if it worked.

I'm having this problem with my 104Z. I also hear it a lot more when turning the effect off. Have you replaced the switch yet? Did it help?
