Little phatty "basic questions"

Post by A-kut » Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:08 am

Hello everybody,

I bought a little phatty stage 2, I've read the manual but my english is quite bad so i need to ask you some questions... Soory for that...

First, I didn't found if it explains how to start with a super basic sound. (I mean something not edited at all) Something like a basic "saw/square" waveform...

Maybe this is not possible and i have to create my own sounds by editing the existing presets?

My last question is the following, when i want to save an edited preset, can I save i in another place or I Am obliged to erase a preset for storing it? Is there a place where it is free space?

Many thanks

Hello A-kut,

operating on Phatties is very comfortable. To start building a patch from scratch you can choose "CA Calibration Preset" which is based on a simple volume- and filter-sustaining one oscillator square wave. To store your own patches you will have to overwrite existing ones because the memory only holds 100 location. But that's not a problem since you can recall single presets by using SysEx.
To make it simple: Thank you, Bob!
