FS: Voyager OS - quite minty

Post by Christopher Winkels » Tue Mar 08, 2011 5:55 pm

Hi folks.

Selling my Moog Voyager Old School. It's in fantastic, near-mint condition (used probably 60-70 hours max). Only just out of warranty. A quality piece, but I just haven't bonded with this one like I thought I would. Looking for $1,900 in either US or Canadian funds (your call). Shipping throughout North America at cost. Payment by Paypal or cash only.

I'm located in Burlington, Canada but work in Mississauga - you can save yourself 5 percent off the price if you want to pick up. Photos by request.

$1900?

In Canada, that's a steal. You should be able to sell this in no time. I paid 2600 used for mine. :(

Cheers, thanks. My cat has required about $1,400 of medical care (no insurance... pre-existing heart condition, poor thing) so I need to free up some cash by the time the credit card bill comes due).

Seeing as I probably won't my tax refund for another month.... or more.

I've out it up on eBay. Still two days left and well under the $1,900 figure I was asking for before.

It can be found here: http://bit.ly/eqzuV7

i think you'll do ok. Plenty of interest and items of this stature tend to spike up at the very last second but if I can [gently] criticize your listing, I'll say that your listing time (completion time choice) is less than ideal. People are either [practically] snoozing (West coast, North America) or at work during that hour of that day. The most savvy have snipe programs setup but in order to get the best possible result, you need everything stacked in your favor. A Sunday evening 11:10pm time is pretty good for most things.

Not sure if you have the opportunity to re-list or if you are going to be satisfied with, say, $1,600? If not, you might want to drop and re-list.

fwiw, I paid $2,200 for my OS WhiteWash shipped as 'open box' from Nova*Musik. There was not so much as a fingerprint on it. And as you likely have heard, serial #'s up into the mid 600's have been popping up so I believe that they are making the again, albeit in limited quantity.

Having said all of this, there are people here that have been willing to trade $3,000+ Voyagers for Old Schools and yours has the classic finish so... you might be pleasantly surprised despite what I wrote above to get well in the mid-$2k.
