Filtering external audio via voyager
Filtering external audio via voyager
Can anyone tell me exactly where I plug the external audio source in to access the filter section on the voyager and any tips for a good raspy saw type filter noise.
Audio into Voyager
Thank You,
We know where the input is on the Voyager, do we need a 'y'split cable for the the input?
We have tried all options for getting a signal in and so far nothing is working.

No help from a newbei like me, unfortunately.
I just wanna say that I've got the same problem. No external sound gets through, except if listening to the 'filter out/mixer in' connector, but here is the moog sound as well and it's impossible to turn off.
Any comments from more experienced users?

Have to triggered the envelopes? Or set "KEYBOARD/ ON/EXTERNAL" switch to external? Without doing so, the VCA will not opended and this does result in no sound at the output at all.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Plug your source in the Voyager's 'EXT AUDIO IN' control. In the Voyager's MIXER section, switch External to ON and make sure all Oscillators and the Noise are set to OFF. Set the Mixer's External knob to 5 (this is just an initial setting), and set the Master Volume control to 0 (again, an initial setting)
Locate the Env. Gate switch in the lower right and select ON/External. Slowly bring up the Master Volume to a comfortable level. You may also need to adjust the External control in the mixer. You should now be hearing your source processed through the Voyager.
Note: If the Env. Gate switch is set to Keyboard, you will have to strike a key on the Voyager's keyboard to hear your source. In this mode the Voyager's Filter and Amplifier envelopes are triggered from the keyboard (one trigger for each key strike).

Thanks for your help Greg
We are not getting much level.
Is it a ring tip and sleve protocol we are missing?
