Post by cloudhop » Wed Jan 05, 2011 8:31 pm

Does anyone have any information on the X - Y pedal?

I assume it sent out some form of CV..but how and where to?

Ive also seen the joystick yet the listing says "pedal" ??

Theres not a lot out there concerning this.

No he's talking an X-Y pedal like the one in the Carlos modular

The pedal is a custom piece, never went into production

Yea..the pedal..you can see it there on the left.

I can only assume it was like the guitar pedal De Almond made, think it was them..it had a down and sideways action... so maybe this one you get 2 CVs controllers out ?

I'm making a similar x-y box but employing two faders as a try out. I believe its used to fade/pan CV to 2 seperate filters or/and VCA's. As hands will be free (midi) I can use the faders instead of nimble foot work. But theres no info anywhere apart from the odd pic...thanks for that too.
