Hi everybody... I need a little help!!
I'm working on 2 different Little Phatty (one is in the South of France and the other in the North of France).
LP#1: Operating System version 2.2 588/21
LP#2: Operating System version 2.2 588/24
The problem is: I can't import the sounds from #2 to #1.
Question #1: does "2.2 588/21" and "2.2 588/24" are different versions of the operating system?
Question #2: is it possible to update the #1 to version 2.2 588/24? Where can I find it?
Question #3: if it's not possible to find this updater, can I update #1 and #2 to version 2.21 and keep my presets?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Guillaume
Operating System and compatibility
Re: Operating System and compatibility
That is very strange.
You can save your presets to your computer, individually or as a bulk dump. Update both to 2.21 and then load your presets back onto the LPs from the computer.
Before you go through all the hassle, you might want to wait for OS 3, which is due for release very soon.

Re: Operating System and compatibility
Thank you... I've done the update to v.2.1 on my LP#1 but it still don't read the presets from LP#2.
I'll do the update of my LP#2 ASAP then I'll save the presets and try to send them to the LP#1.
Do you have the answer to my Question #1?

Hello,
Here is some info about the version numbers.
LP with USB board has a version number in the format: "XXX/xx"
The number on the left of the "/" is the main firmware version.
The number to the right of the "/" is the USB firmware version.
(LP with no USB has only one version number, no "/" or second number)
So, in the case of these two units, they are running the same main firmware and different USB firmware.
I would not have thought this would cause any preset compatibility problems, though.
email amos at moogmusic dot com, I will send you the v24 USB firmware.
Kind regards,
Amos
