New "Modular" from Moog?

Post by SynthBaron » Fri Oct 10, 2003 10:24 pm

Why not? The market is there, and you know they'd sell!

I understand the whole concept of the 'fooger series, but a real updated modular from the master himself would be a killer.

I second that.

A new modular MOOG, with wooden cases, in limited version. With the great analog MOOG sound, and limited giving that feeling of "collector's item" just like the old ones. Hmmm... (already dreamin')

Oh, yes!!! This would be great. It would be allready very nice if the Moogerfooger get a new design like the VX351 and the CP251, so they would fit perfectly inside this kind of rack and the it would be easy to use the plugs. On the otherhand, Yoyager is like a small modular synth if you have the above (VX+CP) modules. So you can allready use a lot of the other modular stuff at the market, and i guess there is a lot of good quality modules out there.
But never mind some more original moogish stuff.
