Moog Customer Service

Post by this_poison » Fri Nov 19, 2010 10:06 am

Just wanted to say that I had a minor problem with my Signature Voyager a few weeks ago, and was once again stunned by how special the Customer Service is at Moog.

Other companies would have (and indeed, have in the past) pointed out the age of my product, their policies, their apologies, their denials, their inability to help etc etc - or in most cases just not bothered replying.

Without going into the detail, someone from Moog got back to me very quickly and went out of their way to help.

Makes you proud......

When my Taurus 3 road case arrived with one of the casters sheared off during shipping, Moog customer service sent me a whole new case, and took care of all shipping costs and arrangements.
Yes, Moog does indeed have one of the best service departments in the business.

As for the damaged case, it makes you think about how hard those postal handlers are on packages - after all, this was an empty case, specifically designed to handle the rigors of the road, so it must have been thrown around pretty hard to cause that kind of damage. I cringe every time I have to have an instrument shipped, and I always insure them for the full replacment value.

Moog has some really great customer service. When they were doing that Moog guitar promotion during the summer, they helped me right out with the supplies when the store didn't have all the stuff in stock. It was really cool!
