hello !

im prety much convinced i need a freqbox to put after an octave & gated fuzz going into (via MF103) my MF101 (using an electric bass by the way)

anyone else use a similar (kinda) setup ??

any thoughts/comments most appreciated ;)

Yup, love it!! You really need to crank the gain and amount on the filter to get a good 'snap' out of the filter, but that's only due to the compressed dynamic sound that a FUZZ creates.

The FreqBox on it's own does a filtered "wow" sound pretty well when the FUZZ is going into it, the envelope responds well to the gating.

I'm using a Wolly Mammoth, and a Fuzz Factory, as well as a HOG for the octave.

I'm thinking of unloading my FreqBox since it doesn't see as much use as it could in someone else's hands ie yours... I'm more of a guitar player than bass & keyboard and I already have lots of other toys.
