How to insert a delay in the Minimoog Old School?
Hello
I can not get sound from my Moog delay when I plug it in "insert" on my minimoog old school. I have a cable "Y" with a stereo jack and at the end, two mono jack (so I plug the delay) ... I also tried with another delay Boss Roland, and same result, I can not hear the echo ...
The cable, I plug in the output "mix out / filter in" -> Delay.
What is the problem??? I do not understand, I'm sure I plugged in my effects ...???
Someone can it help me a solution.
Thank you!
Edit :
According to the manual, all other effects are mentioned unless the Delay??? Why? And actually, it works well for the rest, phasing, ... ring modulator etc. ...

I don't know whether I can help you, but with the "normal" Voyager I use a little Behringer delay without any problem. I connected the stereo plug of a Y-cable into the mentioned Mixer Out/Filter In jack. One of the two mono plugs I inserted into the input of the Delay and the other into the output. However it could be necessary to change the input with the output in order to get a sound. But this is just one step. And then of course the oscillator(s) and/or external input signal and/or noise should deliver any signal, means the related potentiometers should not be set to zero.

Yet for other effects, this works perfectly. I also tried with other Delays and I have the same problem ...

With the MF104, and other delays it works best to take the signal from the Voyagers outputs. In the Case of the MF 104 or other mono delays take “left” output, (If you are using both disconnect the “right” for this use), connect this to the MF104’s input. If you are using something that has “stereo” inputs by all means use both of the Voyager’s outs.
When you use the filter insert, you are just feeding the filter insert from the key press, once the envelope goes through it’s “cycle” the sound feeding the filter “disappears” .

Ah yes agree ... Thank you anyway for these explanations, I'll test it just now.

Be sure to use sounds that have long 'release' values set on your envelope generators.
