Two Qs re voyager patches

Post by raisedonprog » Sat Mar 19, 2005 12:33 pm

I have two questions re Voyager patches:

1) Long ago, I had a micromoog. In the manual were diagrams of the front panel showing settings for various sounds. When I purchased my Signature Edition, I understood from somewhere in the accompanying literature that Moog Music would eventually be making available diagrams of the patches installed at the factory. I think this would be a great starting place for tweeking and designing my own sounds. Does anybody know anything about such a collection of diagrams. Has Moog Music published such a thing?

2) I am an owner of a Roland Juno 106. One thing I like about the 106 is that, when you call up a preset patch, you can tweek it (at which point a little indicator LED goes on) and then save to the same or another patch number your modified patch. I've heard that you can do this on the Voyager too, but I have no idea how. Any ideas?

As for your first question, I don't know of any sound charts that Moog has put together, but, their software librarian will display all settings from any patch on your voyager. It does much more than just this feature as well.

Concerning your second question, the Voyager does this as well, it's in the manuel, which if you don't already have you can download from the Moog site.
