I have a chance to purchase a used Moog Little Phatty (not the Stage II), the one with the orange pitch & mod wheels.
I'm going to check it out tomorrow, is there anything in particular I should check when buying one of these used?
I don't often buy used gear, but the price seems pretty good, and I really would love to add one of these to my setup.
For some of you guys who have been around a while, I used to own a Roland SH-5 20 years ago, and regret every day that I "gave" it away when I got off the road.
Will the LP be able to do a lot of the same things my old SH-5 did? I realize the LP doesn't have noise, that I can live without, but as far as the rest, think I can get the same sounds out of it, or close?
