as mentioned before over and over.. they complement each other very well! Very different sound, both analog, but in no way comparable.

Besides the fact that the Prophet has gazillions more options then the phatty of course ;)

Indeed! Anybody thought of having the best of both worlds by running the Mopho through the Moogerfooger LP filter?

And since the Evo and the Mopho have quite a lot in common I can't imagine that LP+Mopho wold be a much worse combo...
Is that you Christian from NMA? In a picture, I saw you playing DSI MEK(or PEK?) and Moog LP on stage. Which one do you prefer in synth bass usage between DSI Evolver and Moog LP?

Yes, it's me, and we do use both a LP and a MEK (but I haven't actually used the LP on stage much).
For bass I do tend to turn to the LP much more often. The Evolver can produce great bass as well, but I mostly use it for other kinds of sounds, as it excels in the distorted and twisted! :twisted:
