Can multiple LPs be polychained together for polyphony?

Post by kidgloves2 » Wed Jun 02, 2010 12:37 am

Can the LP be polychained with other LPs to increase polyphony? Just like the DSI Prophet, Tetra and Mopho? If so has anyone done it? What are the results? Is there video/audio? I know people multitrack their mono synths to fake polyphony, but I would like to hear it in real time.

I looked through the menus on the Phatty OS 2.1, and it looks like you can have 16 note polyphony, if you had 16 Phatties. I only have one, so I have never tried it.

Actually, I was just dreaming of an experiment where I took a bunch of synths that had the ability to do this, and set them all to different sounds, just to see what would happen...crap, now I must try it, I can tell its going to be a late night tonight ... ;)

I'm surprised LP owners near each other haven't got together to try this.

If there is ever a Moog convention, this could be organized.
