Awesome, that's exactly what I had in mind for Moogertron Mk II.
Notice the Phaser is mounted off-centre to allow the sockets to be arranged down one side.

Re: Killer 5U Foogers.
Between these pics and the one with front mounted panels that I saw last month, I wanted to ask if anybody knows the best way to custom print the white text on metal?
I've been working a side project and stumbled across an outfit that will custom CNC a panel for you complete with etching, holes drilled, and text/artwork but it's pricy.
Any guidance on how to best do this? Most of what I've seen appears identical to the original. There must be a layout program to choose the same text/font, etc. but what sort of printing is used.
Anybody know...?

Re: Killer 5U Foogers.
The panels in this post appear to be engraved/routed and in-filled. Notice the custom graphics (e.g. waveforms) are numerical; it's cheaper that way.
The official 'foogers are screen printed. Not as durable and "high" setup cost to get a screen made, but significantly cheaper and faster for many multiples of units.
