Using MoogerFoogers with Moog Guitar?

Post by MFenkner » Sun May 02, 2010 1:12 am

Has anyone found any creative ways to combine MoogFooger or controllers with the Moog guitar?

I'm all for supporting Moog by buying additional gear, but I don't see any good fits between MoogerFoogers or controllers and the Moog guitar, beyond what you could do with any normal guitar.

Thanks,

Mark

Id like to hear a demo of moog guitar to 103 with the lfo out (possibly to cp251 lag or attenuator) controlling the harmonic blend of the pick ups. Combine that with some long sustained slowly evolving chord changes 8)
My modular so far: Q104, Q106 x2, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, Mixer and Mankato playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M x2 ( STEREO!) Volca Beats and Bass, Arturia Beat step

MuRF midi-synced to your synth of choice. You can play chords on the guitar, with rhythm imposed on those chords by the MuRF, and synced to the synth's arpeggiator or whatever.

In general, using the Moog Guitar to hold a chord indefinitely, and then running it through anything controlled by an LFO can sound interesting.
