Original & Cover Song Moog Music Wanted!

Post by Philip A. Stranger » Sat Mar 12, 2005 3:26 pm

So, for those of you who didn't read my last post, there is this couple I know who release a CD compilation of independant musicians music called Sediment. I told them about my last posting, asking them if they got enough Moog songs submitted if they would do an "All Moog" Sediment...Moog-centric. They said a very enthusiastic "YES!". So, if any of you Moog users out there would like to participate, e-mail them and find out how @...

radiantdregs@yahoo.com

Or go to...

To find out more. And, when you submit a song, you get a free copy of the Sediment CD that your song will be on as well as a free copy of the Sediment Tribute Album, on which you'll find my Moog covers of Mungo Jerry's "In the Summertime" and Philip Glass's "Music Box", the theme from Candyman.

So come on you Moogiphiles out there, let's make this happen!

I, nor my band, is extremely heavy in MOOG sounds, but we do use a fair bit of synthesizers (generally more along the lines of Korgs and Rolands). I keep coming back here because it is the only active synth message board I think I've ever seen. Anyway, although my band doesn't really use MOOG products we are about to hit the studio and we would love to be on your compilation. Maybe it could just be a synth heavy album?
