sticky key?

i have a sticky key on my prodigy. when i hold down the C note - it sticks down then pops up. i've tried cleaning it countless times. any suggestions?

well - think i fixed it... but i thought that before... basically the fuzzy part under the keys were sticky - sort of tar like... not sure if the people before smoked or spilled or gigged...
