Roger Linn VS MuRF

Post by robert M » Thu Mar 03, 2005 8:58 pm

Hello there!

Please help - I've tried Adrenalinn because the manual says some of it is "inspired" by Moog and Oberheim fx.
While it is very nice and well made, I want the Original.

Question is :
can MuRF do the similar sounds and "simulations", in RLinn ARE around 20 sound patterns, and so on - in the manual it looked like they were describing the MuRF !

Thank you very much for your help !!!

I have a friend out in CA who really likes the Linn stuff -- he specifically recommended the "Adrenalinn" (I think that's how it's spelled). I read a lot about both lines of gear and just decided to go w/ the Moog gear.

It probably wasn't as much a rational decision as more of an emotional response to the Moog mojo. Of course the wisest way to proceed would be to try both lines of gear -- and probably toss Electro-Harmonix into the pot as well. But wisdom can be overrated.

My guess is that you won't be bummed out with *any* of the higher end lines, but your mileage may vary.
