Little Phat bugs...
Hello again,
I'm the owner of A Little Phatty Stage edition,
and I had some troubles with the stability of this machine in the past,
I contacted Amos who advice me the Silicon laboratories USB Debuger,
I took it and my synth was working again (yeah!!!),
but since two weeks, the same troubles appears again ....
Lights of pots are moving alone, and the sound with them...
and when I check the midi communication in Midi-Ox,
I see that my LP send a lot of CC by itself...
So, I flash again the LP with Debuger, and, then, I made a new installation of LP_stageOSv2_2
but nothing changes....(I take care of switch off the Arp/LFO sync)
Has someone the same problem ?
Can you help me ?
Do you know when the new OS for LP will be ready?
Regards.
Ben.

Re: Little Phat bugs...
Sounds like a midi loop or grounding issue

can you tell me more, please ???
Re: Little Phat bugs...
To resolve a grounding issue make sure the outlet that is being used is actually grounded. The 3rd round prong is the ground. Sometimes inside the outletthe ground is not wired properly. Try a new outlet.
For a midi loop issue, there's a couple of things but the easiest way to determine if that's the issue is to play without both the midi out and in connected. If the issue never happens with only one plugged in at a time you had midi loop, where the outgoing message is immediately sent back into the LP.

I had the same problem. Turns out it was grounding. Changing outlets didn't help so It stumped me for a while. It turns out it was the Power bar I was plugged into when I changed it out the problem went away.

"power bar" is slang for the surge protector
