I would love to have the option to have the effects loop affect the first echo of the delay as well as keep its current function of affecting the second repeat and building upon that. Is it possible to mod the mf-104z in this way?
I know there is a current infinite repeat mod. Maybe the person doing that can do this mod too. Does anyone know of such a crazy thing?
I love this delay and I don't want any other delay pedal.
Thanks.

There is a workaround:
use the FX send of the mixer to get the signal into the delay (set to wet out only). This will allow you to control the wet/dry mix on the mixer. Or use a line splitter in front of the delay input and add the outgoing delay with the straight dry signal as you like.
No set the FX in the delay FX loop in front of the delays input. So the very first echo will have the FX too.
For feedback split the signal from the wet delay output back into the input of the FX. You need some simple buffer to mix these signals.
All this can be achieved using two FX sends on a mixer. With no modification, soldering or new bought gear (except for three mixer channels required.
