Little Phatty recording techniques with MPC 2500
Hey, I was curious to which method people prefer to record their LP, who are using an MPC in their setup. Do you record directly into the MPC with audio track/JJOS or direct record/Akai OS? so you have a sample of your recording in the MPC. Or do you prefer to record midi data on the MPC and record the audio of the LP straight to your DAW instead? The way I was thinking of recording was the first way I mentioned, but with a 512c in front of the LP
. I actually do not have a LP yet but I plan on getting one in a week or two!

Ahh nice.. well good thing you got a stage 2.. the original was the tribute, and it was without some features, the stage 2 has all the updated features... the Blue LED's are more rare.. but personally I like the yellow ones better
Just looks so nice.

I'm glad you like it! That's exactly how I felt before I got mine. All I can say, is it was the first thing I bought in quite a while that met and exceeded my expectations from it. First Moog, what a magical thing hahaha.Cicatrix wrote:My Little Phatty arrived todayI've been messing with it for about two hours now and all I can say is this thing is straight meat! I'm definitely glad I picked this beast up.
