No Moog poly, so what to buy?

Well all that I have to say is that if they are going to do a polysynth, be prepared to put in preorders....so start saving!

Like I said, I just hope that the chassis will support a voyager or phatty on top. This would be perfect.

I'm sure Moog will eventually do a poly. How can they not when so many people are begging for one?

I just hope that it'll do pads too.

I didn't read the whole thread but for a new polyphonic moogish synth Studio Electronics Omega and Code polysynths seem like obvious choices.

I think Moog listens to their customers... and it's so obvious that this is what their customers want and expect next from them... I personally don't think it's a "if" but a "when?"

Not to mention, any problems or issues that came with the polymoog and memorymoog, they've had over 20 years to of experiences with them.. Plus we have technology now that can provide better stability.

It's 100% possible to do, and there is so much heat gathering for a poly Moog from Moog's customer base, it just seems senseless to not give it a go.

i really love to see a polyphonic moog, espec 8 voyagers in one affordable package.
one thing however : i prefer moog not to go the alesis way: building a nice polysynth and going down on the effort.
so whatever might or might not come: i'm happy with moog already

Absolutely. I wouldn't want them to lose their ability to turn a profit by taking such a huge chance.

I am by no means some who "creates beats."
This is my take on rhythm.

This is only the Nord G2 and a Korg Electribe ER-1.

If he is correct, a handful of them will be sold. But nothing near the success w the Little Phatty. I have more faith in Moog than this.
