OS 3.5 Problem in Voyager RME

Post by tomoe97 » Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:14 pm

I upgraded my Voyager Rack to OS 3.5 and it seems to have worked (OS 3.5 shows when booted), but the first 30 patches in Bank A are all garbled and inaudible. I reinstalled the update, but the problem with Bank A remains. Did anyone else encounter this problem? What should I do?

You need to reload the patches. They get wiped during the upload. (I read that somewhere on the forum here.)
You did a back up before you updated, didn't you?

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I did have a backup. Am reloading now.

I got no garbled bank with the update.

But I had to resize the buffer settings in Midi OX before getting the banks and sounds uploaded completely (the default output setting of 16x below the buffer size value is too small).

I don't what you used to upload the sysex file to your RME...
