So shipping a t-shirt now costs $12.67 instead of $15.25.

Hopefully that's good enough for everyone.

Moog - Thank you very much! I'm sure I speak for many loyal Moogers here who are happy that Moog is a company which actually listens to it's customer's concerns - even if those concerns happen to be minor ones.

Much Appreciated,

Rich W.

I like this! USPS is way easier to work with getting stuff shipped to Canada then UPS! :D
Moog Voyager RME / Moog LP SE 2 / Nord Rack 1 / Microkorg / Korg ER-1 / Triggerfinger / Rocktron Banshee talk box / Ableton live / Guru / Lots of non-electric musical instruments.

So, I was trying to check out the new shipping options and the only option I get in my cart is UPS still. Anyone know how to choose the USPS option?

I guess on top of the apparel it's more of the brand name that costs a little more of the usual. The name says it all and most people don't mind paying an extra just to get hold of that shirt. :)

There must be.., there should be, a good reason for this. Moog should be addressing this soon. Hello can you hear us? We feel that 15.25 is too much.., hello.., anybody there?!

It’s plain and simple, if you can afford it, then buy it. These apparels are not the bread and butter of the company and MOOG probably is not earning much from it. But same goes; it's a business not charity

I agree. What's the difference between paying 70 bucks or 65 (including shipping) for novelty item you'll be proud to wear and that nobody can buy at the local mall. I would say different I were talking about T-Shirts-R-Us, but I'm not.

It's worthy to note that M went the effort of addressing the issue, even if it does not cut shipping costs in half. Not every company would have.

I think it might be a good idea for our UK distributor, Source, to pick up a bundle of our wearable items for sale to UK Moogers... the base price might have to be a bit higher but it would save quite a bit on shipping!

I'll suggest this.

Uh... is this not a good enough response for you? Seems reasonable to me-- speaking of which, did anyone take Subtronik up on that bet?
moogmusic wrote:As of January 14, 2010: USPS is now an option for shipping method on Moog wearable merchandise. We have been working toward making this option available for some time, but had to make arrangements with USPS to pick up from our factory and also had to ensure that we could track the packages. Originally the post office did not offer tracking of packages, so we did not use them because there was no proof of delivery. Now that USPS does offer tracking, we will allow the USPS to deliver merchandise like T-shirts. We made this change for international wearable orders some time ago in order to reduce the exorbitant overseas shipping rates from UPS. However, USPS still does not offer tracking on overseas packages, so choose that option at your own risk (we haven't received any complaints so far). Moog will still require signatures for any gear that is shipped which means gear will still be exclusively shipped by UPS or FedEX. Also: I will announce here first that the Preview Sale on 2010 merch is almost entirely sold out. In a matter of days it will disappear from the website and the official Mid-Winter 2010 Moog Merchandise will be released. We have made some modifications and continue to upgrade fabrics and designs, so that we can deliver wearables our customers--you lot--will love.Thank you for supporting Moog! Sincerely, Your Friends at Moog Music.

Cheers. How would Moog know this was an issue for some if it hadn't been mentioned by us 'whiners', especially this 'wormy' one? They are not psychic. It is good to make people aware of things, no?

Sure, it's good to speak up, but when you start accusing a company that I respect of ripping people off, thats crossing the line.

The comment was a general one at how things are disproportionately priced compared to other places and was not aimed at Moog, but was a response to a post, so the context is lost here. i apologise if anyone took it the wrong way - it is a common phrase here in the UK: there's even a website with the name http://www.rip-off.co.uk/
