Any suggestions for a good T1 pedal contact cleaner?

Post by JaseyT » Tue Jan 12, 2010 6:16 pm

Hey guys, I thought this would be a good place to ask if anyone could recommend a good cleaner I can use to get rid of the "dead notes" and stubborn notes on the pedal contacts. I've used some silver jewelry cleaner but had mixed results. Any tips are appreciated!

The contact wires are plated in silver - use Tarnex and carefully wipe them clean, but rub lightly & do not use anything abrasive, as it will remove the silver plating. Worked good when I owned my T-1s, but it needs to be done about once a year.
