MP-201 & Theremin Controlling H.O.G. - Video

Post by _DemonDan_ » Mon Dec 21, 2009 5:35 pm

Hi Gang,

Thanks to "HB3" and "Don'tBelievetheHype" for posting about using control voltages with their
Electro-Harmonix H.O.G. It gave me the confidence to try it using the MP-201 and Etherwave Plus:

As the demo was made specifically for the H.O.G., I didn't get to show all the tricks I learned, but it
should motivate you to try it yourself if you own a H.O.G. and an MP-201 and/or Etherwave Plus.

CRAP! I thought that was my little secret (HOG+MP201)! Well, now that its out there on YouTube, I guess it's time to ask Moog for a Pitchbend function from the MP201. The HOG takes expression pedal, but somehow CV's work. Can't help but wonder if it's a little dangerous. Also, why sacrifice a CV out when the HOG takes MIDI, right?
