Interesting, but not so much so that I'm blown away. Maybe it was just a bad day for the performers, I dunno. They all seemed a bit lethargic and soul-less. Just my personal thoughts. I do like the idea of the Rhodes/Moog/bass and drums, but it seems like these guys executed it poorly.

Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.
I just see so much potential. WHen they went into the double time I thought that was fantastic. These guys are young and if they keep atit they will really rock.
REALLY made me want to actively seek out an electric upright, which I am definately looking into so I can have a more well rounded bass arsenal.

Because two electric basses, a Voyager, and the Taurus III's just isn't enough bass variety.EricK wrote:REALLY made me want to actively seek out an electric upright, which I am definately looking into so I can have a more well rounded bass arsenal.

WHat if someone wants me to lay down some tuba?
(3 basses, and not counting the Rhodes electric piano bass. heh)

I see potential as well. But that's all I see. They are seriously lacking energy...which is what's needed for a great performance. I saw a band live once...they're called Hurricane Gumbo. They are a great live Zydeco band, so I bought their CD after the show. When I listened to it, it had none of the soul that the live performance had.EricK wrote:I just see so much potential.

Future Dog's performance here reminds me of the Hurricane Gumbo CD. I'm sorry if this seems like rambling, but it's the only way I can explain it.
