Theremin as a CV controler???

Post by sir_dss » Tue Jan 18, 2005 1:33 am

Will any of the Moogmusic theremins work as a CV controler? I would love to use a theremin to control the Voyager's filter, LFO rate, PRW, etc...

I do know that Doepfer has a module, but I'm already using a MOTM/Blacet system.

It seems like a no brainer that MM would have a CV control theremin.

The Etherwave Pro has CV outputs. You can use it to control CV inputs on the voyager or moogerfoogers or other compatible CV devices. Check out the manual here for more specific information about the topic. Go to page 15 when you download the manual.

Isn't it a bit difficult to use a theremin for controlling and playing the MMV at the same time, or do you mean to use it while you are running a sequence into the MMV? The touchpad do thid job for me, but i also bought another nice toy, the Doepfer R2M Midi-Ribbon-Controller. The R2M can sent midi as well as CV and gate! Funny nice toy, including an Arpregiator.
