I think that as far as capabillities go, the Voyager is hands down surperior. BUT I also have to say that the LP has some tones that the Voyager just can't get so it is really a matter of what "color" an artist wants to use.

The Phatty I believe has a very distinct tone that I wish that I had. Both units are great tools to have but with More oscillators, more filter options, more complex modulation busses and the knob per function interface, the Voyager is preferable.

Its a matter of which car is better, the luxury version or the standard? They both will get you to the same places.

I have an LP Tribute, and a Voyager RME. I love them both. I find the raw sound of the Voyager to be better, but I love the simplicity and immediacy of the LP, as well as the cool overdrive. Haven't upgraded the OS for the arpeggiator yet, or gotten the CV upgrade yet, but that's pretty cool!
