While I like the combo of the voyager and the vx351 a lot, it is still missing several crucial patch points in order for it to be a truly monster system. I don't know if this would be possible (I suspect hardware limitations might come into play here), but I would like to see a vx352.
This would include at least:
- individual oscillator frequency inputs, preferrably of the expo variety and perhaps even with attenuators
- individual oscillator wave inputs.
- individual CV ins for each filter and for res on each filter
I thought about individual oscillator outputs, so you could tap off each oscillator separately, but this doesn't strike me as being that useful unless you have the means of returning them as well. In a fantasy situation I'd like the lot but I am hoping that *perhaps* the accessory port might be able to support these additional CVs, and this, together with a new daughterboard inside the voyager, would permit this additional functionality. Of course, this is probably also dependent on how may 351s Moog has sold. IF there haven't been a lot then they probably won't be interested in doing this anyway...
Like the 351 it could have onboard functions that would not need to use the accessort port connection and surely top of this list must be another lfo, preferrably with a ramp, tri and random shapes.
Anything else?
