My touchpad had a single long scratch across it when it arrived and it didn't bother me too much.

Now if the wood was scratched that would be a different story.

deep scratch 2mm size after twodays of playing, very soft material it seems, well as long as it works and doesn't go deeper/further

I wonder if putting a sheet of thin plastic over the surface (LCD protection sheet?) would negatively affect its playability? Has anyone tried this?

Hi-
My KP3 came with a sheet of that same thin film for the purpose. I haven't tried it on the Voyager, but cannot see any reason why it wouldn't be fine. The only problem is sizing it so it doesn't slide around. You have to cut it a bit larger than the pad.

Got plenty of it from the last monitor I bought. :?
