My Low Pass filter is broken?

Post by AntonLi » Mon Jun 08, 2009 10:40 am

My filter is broken?

I from Russia, forgive my bad English.
I have ordered on ebay new Moog Low pass.
I connect the guitar. I twist the knob "Amount" and I do not hear any difference in sound. The switch smoouth / fast does not give any effect too.

My filter is broken? Whether probably it to repair?

Have your turned up the Drive knob and turned down the Cutoff frequency knob?

The Drive knob needs to be high enough so that the Env light comes on. The Cutoff knob needs to be set lower so that the envelope has something to control.

Hope that helps and I hope your pedal isn't broken.

If you read the manual, the features are revealed in a sequence.

When I first plugged mine in, I had to experiment with the CUTOFF knob and the RESONANCE in order to hear the effect. Proper adjustment is key with this device.
