I love my Voyager OS but am looking to add another moog to get more effects and some midi funtions so I am going to link them and was wonder if a Phatty would do or should I get another Voyager either a select or a RME what are you folks thoughts on what would be best for the long run.
Thanks Lam

I really love my RME. Seems like it's really overlooked. I really love having all the patch connections in front of me (VX-351 and 352) and right next to eachother.
I think the RME (with the VX-351 and 352) coupled with the OS would be a very versatile and compact modular thing. Just my 2 cents. I'd love to get an OS to use with this set up.

Tough call. If you're looking to match the sound of your OS pretty close to exactly and just want to add Midi/presets/touch screen/etc., then go with the Voyager Select.
But on the other hand, who really wants two synths that sound exactly the same? In that case, you can go with the Phatty. Gain an arppegiator, lose an oscillator. And more.
And dare I say it on a Moog forum........maybe consider a non-Moog synth for even greater variation in your sound? A polyphonic analog like a Juno 60 or something? I love comboing my Voyager & my Access Virus. Great sounds.
That said, would dump my Virus in a heartbeat if Moog ever released a new poly.

Agreed. I have used this set up and the two play well with each other.

I swear, this forum is gonna get me to by a Virus sooner or later.

Too many people saying how good it sounds alongside the Voyager!
That's OK though; I'm sure I've talked at least one person here into getting a Future Retro XS. So, I guess I deserve a little induced-gearlust in return...

Here's another one for ya...
Yeah the Virus and Voyager make a nice couple.
(I actually shouldn't make this statement considering I only had the Voyager for a couple weeks. But I love my Virus C. Very versatile machine)

I think an LP would be a nice pairing for you. You could also look at some older stuff like an Opus or Prodigy. I think some old and some new together will be magical.
