Moog Voyager Modular Set-up

Post by mattsynth » Mon Jun 08, 2009 1:49 pm

Has anybody tried to modify any moogerfoogers. The units are all designed for guitarist as a floor mount unit and I wish to set them in a rack with the inputs and outputs facing forward so I can see them better. When you buy Moog's rack mount they face up and are hard to see and use. Moog should really design and manufacturer modular units that go with the Voyager or Phatty's. I was considering using a Doepfer rack of modules to use with my Voyager (ring modulators, band & high pass filters, LFO's. etc). Moog also needs to build a sequencer that works with the Voyager (like Synthesizers.com). After all the Q960 is a look alike of Bob's original 960. It would be nice if everything would sync-up also. Moog seems to be dumping a lot of research into guitars lately instead of synthesizers. Maybe I am asking for too much. Sorry for the complaining but I miss Bob.

Welcome. These issues you bring up have been discussed at length. Try searching these threads out, add to them, and bump them back up to the top for more discussion.

What is a thread? I must be old school because I cannot find any information about this topic. Does anybody have a instruction sheet for this forum?
