The vanishing Mac's main menu isn't a bug. It is a feature SoundTower choosed to code into the Mac version. Only we Mac OS X freaks see this behavier (according to the APPLE Human Interface Guidelines) as a wrong one. To change this is not a problem for SoundTower. And I received an off list info about fixing the problems I discovered. So we are talking about the 1.0 release available right now. And I can't remember a 1.0 release of without some odd ends here and there for a long time in most parts of the software industry.
Maybe the very first Minimoogs were not perfect. That's why there were quite a few modifications available for its hardware over the production run. The octave buffer board one is well known one.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

I would add that even version 1.0 of the Voyager firmware wasn't 'complete' when the Voyager was first released. The current version (now v2.5) has addressed a number of shortcomings and added a host of incredible new features. I see the Voyager Editor/Librarian software as being no different. Constructive feedback from users will allow responsible software vendors to improve their software, which in turn gives us all more/better functionality.
