I think the owner of that same Theremin put it on Ebay a month or two ago and wound up getting a thousnd or two more for it.

Possible scam
OK, here's the scoop.
I emailed the guy with the EW-Pro Ltd. for $2500 on Craigslist, and he is asking me to wire him $2500 Western Union to Italy for the Theremin. Sounds a little fishy. Why you ask? Because if you take a look at Ebay auction number 130299917111 you'll see that there is a picture of the same theremin with the same fabric in the background and that it already sold for over $5000. A while back someone hijacked pictures of an EW-pro I sold on ebay even the same description, and they were obviously scamming. Maybe they've taken their tactics now to Craigslist. However maybe the sale on Ebay fell through and the owner moved to Italy (was in San Francisco when on Ebay) So I don't want to make any absolute judgment calls here. Just be carefull.

probably a scam
Someone I know of, offered to pay and pick up this theremin locally in Italy and has not heard back since then. They were quick to take money wired western union and "ship" but totally silent when offered a local pick up. Do the math, it doesn't add up.

There is a seller who has not one, but two Etherwave Pros for sale. One is at $7.00 and the other is at $11.00. The listings are identical and very suspicious.
Both listings tell the sad story about how he bought this instrument in Austraila and now has to sell it . He only played it twice and the photo is a stick photo.
The amazing part is that there are people bidding on these items.

scam
Sounds like the same scammer. And I presume the listing also says that the sale MUST take place outside of Ebay, and the listing is only for 24 hours? This scammer had listed about 5 of the same listings with the same picture and description all at the same time, about 3 months ago.
