MP201-MIDI CC's from footswitches-firmware update WHEN?

Hi,

I'm excited to discover new possibilities with MP201, Voyager and Midi contolling in my digital design environment.

Anyone knows that is it possible to receive MIDI CC's (toggle type-like on/off switch) from 4 footswitches apart from footpedal.

Hope to see firmware update soon with new CV&MIDI possibilities and more stable sync/tap tempo.

one of the main hopes i got when first bought the MP-201, was to be able to change programs on my LP, i can do that but only one change for preset, my hopes was to be able to change one program per channel... anyone can do this? e.g. create a preset where all the channel's initial state is off except for the one carrying the first program you need, then when you turn on a channel you change the program in the LP. I've been trying to do this in many ways but can seem to be possible...

BTW the MP-201 is a great tool for live playing, and i just love it, keep up the good work moog!!

Earthlinger, you can already do this, with no firmware update needed. I think I might have answered you by email yesterday. Here is how to do it:

Press EDIT to edit a preset, and for each channel, set the following:
CHANNEL MODE = GATE
FS MODE = LATCH

Then you can set any Midi Channel and MIDI CC as you wish for each of the 4 footswitches. Set the MP-201 to QUAD mode, and then each footswitch 1-4 will directly toggle the CC number assigned to it.
