sell it for sure. at the end of the day its just an overpriced digital sampler. If you're a synth guy then it seems like you wouldn't miss the other stuff available on it. I would use half the money from selling that to get a stage model Rhodes piano, but if you don't care about chords and stuff like you said, then getting more synth gear definetly sounds like a good idea. a non-midi sequencer would be a great investment. You might also want to think about putting together a modular synth for yourself.

I had a Nord 2 for about 5 years and recently sold/traded it for an MS-10. I got an MS-10 and cash and I have not regretted it at all. I am a sucker for the pure analog setup and the Nord wasn't my style anymore. its a great synth I miss at times, but I was happy with my trade. I do think the Nord sounds great and if i didn't have another poly synth I'd miss it. I have an XP 30 and Prophet 08 and they supply all the poly sounds I need in my setup. Anyway, i suppose you need to test it out more and see if it still motivates you to create. I like the Nord, but I don't regret how selling it helped expand my analog setup.
