Yeah I wanted to get more octave range. Plus I like to make loops that don't match up. Makes it sound less loopy depending how you mix them live. The record trigger on the first one in the chain is sorta messed up so I use the reverse a lot to create frequency beats and the second one to loop or use as a delay. I've been using them more for recording than live these days. Before the moog I used the wave generator and the two DL4's as the meat and potatoes of my sound. Now it's more like I have to limit what I do with each instrument other wise I'd spend days just pondering the different sounds. Trying to put this all into some sort of context is the challenge I'm faced with now. Especially going on my first tour, got very little time to get that intimacy that's required to pull off a live synth set. It's a hell of a lot of fun. A lot more fun than cutting and pasting field recordings! Two DL-4's? Cool
