Hey guys, I need some help. In general, my Micro is in pretty good shape. However, it has one minor problem, and two fairly major problems.
-Minor: One key is slightly elevated, and when I press it, it makes a clicking sound as it comes up. I refered to the technical guide, and I believe it is missing something called an ivory? Does anyone know if I can use something else or where I can find this?
-Major: Big oscillator problem. Ok, unless I leave it on for a really long time, the oscillator scratches like hell. And when it just scratches too much, it just osillates a square wave tone which I cannot apply doubling or modulation to. It is really strange, and a big problem.
-Major: Pitch ribbon won't screw in! I currently have the metal part that goes around the pitch ribbon, but I don't know how to screw it back in! The screw just comes back up after a few rotations. And it is also off alignment, which can apparently be adjusted via trimpots. Only, I don't know what a trimpot is!
Thanks!

Your smile grew thin as your family talked, arrived singing just a holiday song that didn't stop until you drank too much.
How come I'm so out of touch?

There are a number of things going wrong... Unfortunately the worlds best synthtech no longer works on any of the cheaper moogs any more. But he might be able to give some advice. Email Kevin ( synthfool@synthfool.com )
He might be able to atleast point you in the right direction...
