Bode Ring Modulator request

Post by space_nerd » Sat Mar 14, 2009 8:10 am

Hi,
has anyone the kindness to upload a clear photo of the Bode Ring Modulators
modules, the 6401 or 6402 models, or to provide a link just to see the features?
Thanx in advance
Nikos

Wow, that is cool! After reading the description, I at least have a clue what one is, now!

Go to Moog archives and explore that site. I guarentee ytou that you will revisit often. Roger Luther is a great guy.

I had access to one of these frequency shifters, over 20 years ago, back in my undergraduate days, in a classic analog/tape studio. The FS was amazing, but it was habit forming. Because you could always take something that wasn't quite good enough, and run it through that thing, and it would just get so weird and cool so fast. I must confess, I never quite understood how it worked, but it sure made some weird sounds in a hurry!

I just completed the servicing on a Bode Dual Ring Modulator 6402, so here's a couple of photos from the album:
