Re Arbiter & UK customers/CP-251 offer

Post by chris_h » Mon Feb 09, 2009 10:41 am

Hiya all -just thought I'd give some info as to how I got on, after hearing the news that UK distributor Arbiter are in administration. Source (a division of HHB) are honoring all orders & offers. I called them up and they seemed very efficient. They have estimated 4-6 weeks delivery for stock, including those like me who bought their Moog Product before Xmas to qualify for the CP-251 offer. Might be an idea to call them up and check your name's on the list! Tel:020 8962 5080

hope that helps y'all

We got the same thing going on.
Orderd and paid 2 Phatties at DV on december 30th, including the bonus CP's.

Moog told us that we don't have to worry and a bunch will ship as we speak.

Hmmm, how do you know?
Source told us that they have left the fabric two weeks ago for shipment to the UK.

I did see where we are sending a postcard to everyone who is waiting for a CP-251, to apologise and perhaps give more info to you all individually.

Cheers,

Hope you guys got your CP-251's sorted out...

They are great units... well worth the wait.

I don't mind necessarily waiting for a small company like Moog to get stuff built and sent out. Guitarists and bassists who seek out boutique manufacturers have to wait for weeks sometimes before their instruments are complete. You're getting hand built, in America, boutique analog gear with really high quality craftmanship.

Of course, for everyone here, I'm just re-stating the obvious :) but we're lucky to have these kinds of problems... Thank god we have more options for our creativity and individuality than all the 0's and 1's from the big three.

I've been on the blower to DV - still waiting for shipment of the Voyager OS.

This is the longest I've had to wait for anything - talk about paying up in advance lol....

Its now pencilled in for April.

If I dont receive it by the end of April I will cancel my order and hire a decent prostitute for the night.

We got a mail from Source last week.
The Phatties should have arrived in England by now.
Source has to send them to DV247 and DV has to send them to us (Netherlands).
I'm beginning to think that my Phatty will be here before Christmas.

The CP-251's are scheduled for the end of this month.

All is well.

The Phatties have been delivered.
It makes a nice combo with the Voyager, MEK, Juno60, Nordlead1, hehe.
