The Voyager Software really does kick some serious butt.

Hey all,

I unfortunately haven't posted too much here. I do want to let you know that after about 10 minutes of tweaking the Voyager Editor software I fell in love with it. Some key features:

- Moving and renaming presets is super easy
- The Genetics function is killer
- Creating and modifying presets on screen is a sweet touch
- Technical support is off the hook A++

Regarding the tech support... I spoke with Mark from www.soundtower.com today. I believe he is THE programmer. I ran into problems using the software on my home PC, while my studio's PC would run the software just fine. So he walked me through to find there was no solution on my end. So he tweaked and then recompiled the code and sent me a fix for the problem within 1 hour. That's good business. I also am now using his software for the Dave Smith Evolver.

Getting good support is sometimes tought these days, so I thought I'd tell you guys about Mark and Soundtower. The software is worth it's price, all though I think MOOG should include the software as part of the deal for buying the synth... The editor is THAT valuable that I think NEW Moog Voyagers should just ship with PC and MAC versions on a disc (charge a little more if you have to).

Cheers All,
Rod
