Hey I was just reading your reply and was wondering what keyboard/ synthesizer do you use with your PK-5's to get a T-1 sound?
I use a Roland JP-8000 analog modeling synth, and I have written about 8 Taurus emulation patches for our Rush and prog covers. Some of them are darned close, especially for live performance where some of the nuances of real analog sound can get lost in the din of a live band in a loud club. The reason I'm footing the bill (pun intended) for real Taurus again is to have them for recording and and live performance - while modelling can get you close, real analog is superior when recording, and there is NOTHING like real Taurus played live at concert volume.
