That will make the automation a lot easier than having to work with specific CC-numbers in Cubase ... not to mention the patch-saving ...

the usb port also installs drivers on your computer fi you plug it in remember.

vst or not, the big question is how it transmits info back and forth. will it be the usb, or do you have to have midi ports on your computer. i myself am equipped for either or, but i would say that the usb way would be the best route. i am pretty sure more people have usb ports than midi in out on the ole puter. ;)
