Moogerfooger Analog Sequencer

Post by northern hope » Sun Aug 29, 2004 4:23 pm

More than anything else, I would love to see Moog make a simple 8 channel analog sequencer for the Moogerfooger line. Something similar to the Roland System 104 sequencer. It would be such a simple box to produce, since it wouldn't be incorporating any "new" technology necessarily.

Would anybody else like to see this happen?

As I use sequencing software, I would rather see an arpeggiator, as this would be more useful to me. However, I can see why some would prefer an analogue seqencer to compliment the rest of their Moog equipment, so why not?

I think an analog sequencer would be a nice addition , I've suggested it on the warranty cards I've sent in :). Maybe we'll see on some day. As for an arpegiator, I've used the Korg Z1 midi'd to the Voyager, works great. You can probably use any other synth with an arpegiator to do the same thing, sure a dedicated one would be cool, but for now...

I'd also like to see an analog reverb.

Yes, to be honest, I could just as easily use Logic's arpeggiator with the Voyager, which I'm sure would work fine. A dedicated unit would be interesting, though.
