can voyager read lil phatty patches?

Post by rwlarow » Fri Dec 19, 2008 9:29 am

i recently purchased a moog voyager select indigo, but have a lil phatty stage edition that i will be parting with and want to try and keep some of the patches from. if i do a sysex patch/bank dump out of the LP, can i import and use them with the voyager? im probably going to be using the soundtower editor to manage the bank...

thanks in advance!

I don't think so but I duplicated some LP patches once by matching knob positions and tweaking until it sounded similar. It's just time consuming. I sold my Phatty to help fund a modular...I should have kept it. I miss that synth.

You cannot dump a sysex file from a Phatty on a Voyager as they are totally different synths.
