Voyager and Evolver

Post by Lengai » Fri Aug 13, 2004 2:44 pm

Has anyone tried running the Voyager through a Dave Smith Evolver? I'm looking into getting either the Evolver or Polyevolver to go with my Voyager so if anyone has any advice or words of wisdom about either of the two or if you've run the Voyager through it, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hey Lenagi,
heres a quick one i tried a while back when I first got my evolver , the voyager can sound very different and crazy going thru an evolver. I never really had time to play around with the 2 together as they are both VERY BIG sounding synths haha.

mp3 was done very quick and on the fly just for fun 8)

TonyR,

Thanks for the link. That's pretty sweet sounding, I'm sold. I'm definitely going to get an Evolver to use with the Voyager. Besides, owning products from Bob Moog and Dave Smith isn't a bad thing.

Thanks!

Not to go off in the moog forum about another manufacturer but u will not be dissapointed with evolver, its depth is so vast especially with the software editor and sequencers its INSANE. I havent made any new songs with it only due to the fact that when i start playing with it i end up having hours of fun I just cant stop to concentrate on tracking it. Plus i only have the mono version so i imagine the poly is spectacular.
have fun

Voyager and eVolVer are a very nice couple. Voyager sounds a bit harmless against this animal, but together they sound hot!

Add some drums and percussion...

...and a pad from an VA

Ready
